A tubular cowl with planned colour pooling and the option of a mobius twist.

This pattern is perfect for that beautiful hand dyed that will pool. Perhaps you’ve tried to knit it before but the pooling is a problem. This cowl will tame that pooling and let you have fun with it.

Materials
100g/400m of hand dyed fingering / sock / 4ply yarn which will pool
Size US 4 / 3.5 mm circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge
(either 16” or long circular needle for magic loop or double pointed needles if preferred)
Second circular needle of the same size or smaller to use for finishing
Small quantity of waste yarn of the same thickness
1 stitch marker
Optional: 5 removable stitch markers or lengths of yarn to mark skein repeats

Gauge
Using 4ply yarn: 22 stitches / 4” in stocking stitch (without blocking)

Sizing
Finished Measurements will vary depending on the yarn chosen.
Most skeins will produce a cowl approximately 8” wide.
The length is adjustable, 22” works well.
