I’ve always thought of shaker rib as a perfect stitch pattern for baby knits. So deliciously chubby (well, at least the wrong side of it) and squishy, with lots of stretch and texture. What’s more to ask for?
This blanket is knit in shaker rib, framed with simple 1x1 rib. The stitch pattern is very simple and is a perfect choice for a beginner, too, once you get a hang of how to knit one below. The blanket is reversible, but looks slightly different on both sides. The size is very easy to customize, letting you use whatever yarn you choose. Just cast on the odd number of stitches to incorporate 1x1 rib plus one knit stitch at the end.

Please bear in mind that the pattern has not been tested, in case there are any discrepancies or mistakes, let me know!
