Squishy Short Rows form a garter stitch cowl, entirely without purling. It is worked in sections, that together form a geometric pattern that looks like the sections have been worked in different directions.

You can use any weight of yarn - from lace to bulky - and modify the length and/or width of the cowl to your likings. To modify the width, simply cast on more or less stitches for a bigger or smaller circumference. To modify the length, repeat some of the sections to lengthen or do only half of the pattern to shorten it.

Make it in one color, or use more colors (perhaps one for each section) to make the graphic pattern stand out more clearly!
