One of my favourite places is St Ives in Cornwall . The cables on the St Ives Bay shawl reminds me of the waves that roll into the bay . The little nups are the ridges in the sand that are left in the sand when the tide goes out . The shawl is worked from side to side, it makes the most of a single skein of yarn, and is a simple yet quick knit.
