This dramatic statement necklace is a perfect knit for summer. All one piece, it slips over your head like a cowl. Unusual construction with a “jewel” like stack of knitted folds, this piece makes quick work of scrap yarn.

Comfortable and lightweight, get a dramatic jewelry look without the neck ache!

Gauge:
Gauge is not essential for this necklace. Feel free to substitute any size yarn, adjusting cast on as noted in the pattern. You will need one set of straight needles in an appropriate size for your yarn. Use the needle size suggestions on the yarn wrapper as a guide.

Skills:
In this pattern you’ll need to: knit, purl, pick up stitches, do a 3-needle bind off, do a provisional cast-on and graft stitches (the last two skills are optional).
