I was looking for a nice Capelet/Shawl for my sister-in-law, who lives in Florida. She likes to wear sundresses and usually gets cold inside restaurants. Nothing caught my eye, so I decided to design one that had clean, simple lines. The length of this Capelet will come down to the elbows and gently hug your shoulders. It’s easy to make too. For the Small/Medium size, I used 1 skein of “I Love This Yarn”! The Large/XLarge size takes a little more yarn, so 2 skeins is more than enough to make it!

This pattern has been tested by 3 wonderful testers. If you have any problems, please let me know!

Yarn: I Love this Yarn in Greybeard, 1 skein for Small/Medium (355 yds),
2 skeins for the Large/X-Large, 2XL-3XL sizes (approximately 500 yds)
OR any soft worsted weight yarn
Note: Caron Simply Soft is a #4 weight yarn, but not thick enough for this pattern.

Supplies: scissors, tapestry needle, tape measure
