This is a scarf made with crocheted “short rows” to create the “staggered” edges. I used an aran weight self striping yarn, but you can use any aran or bulky yarn for this design. My testers also used worsted weight yarn for a slightly narrower scarf. It is made with single crochet, making this an easy beginner project.

6-7 ounces of worsted or aran weight yarn and a size I (5.5 mm) crochet hook are needed.

Designer used 3 skeins of Red Heart Boutique Midnight, 2.5 ounces (70 grams), 153 yards (140 meters), 387 yards were used in total.

Many thanks to my beautiful model, Zoe.

Many thanks to my testers, pandastamper, Taffybloom, firecrystal, valcrafts and sjordan255.
