Unique two yarn design, easy to knit. Only 1 yarn is worked at a time. There are different options, 1 solid and 1 variegated or 1 solid and several colors to highlight the design. By using only 1 color at a time and carrying the second color behind the work makes it thicker and overall warmer than a single layer knit. Plymouth Encore is a great yarn to use. However other yarns from other companies will work. Or mix and match yarns from different companies as long as the fiber content is similar. The scarf is worked lengthwise. All done on circular needles in sizes 7 and 8 needles.
Scarf is “One Size Fits All”. Depending on the type of yarn you purchase, the amount of skeins will vary. Red Heart Super Saver may only be one ball for Main Color with one ball of variegated or scraps of several colors to make the multi color design. If its Plymouth or Berroco, it will take more for main color.
