Ridges of garter stitch set off bands of stockinette in a small triangular shawlette. If you’re like me, and think the mini skeins of fingering weight yarn are too fun to resist, but want something else to do with them, this shawlette may be for you. Or do you have a collection of leftover sock yarn just waiting for a project?

Approximately 50 grams of dark fingering weight yarn, wound in 2 balls, 1 about 35 grams (MCA), 1 about 15 grams (MCB)

Approximately 40 grams of leftover fingering weight yarn, or assorted mini skeins with a total weight of about 40 grams. (CC)
