From Ann Bourgeois’ pattern description: People often tell us that our sweaters look like stained glass, and we agree. This Stained Glass Sweater is a fine beginning Fair Isle project, because each tube starts out with one color, and the formula for the color progression is specified on the graph. All you have to do is follow the pattern.

Pattern is shown as a pullover. All the patterns in the book can easily be converted to a cardigan. Pattern can also be purchased directly from the website as a kit.
