On the western edge of the Oquirrh Mountains is the little town of Stansbury Park, a neighborhood just south of the Great Salt Lake. I wanted a place name for this lovely little shawl that would evoke the feeling of beautiful edging. I chose to name it after a place that’s right on the edge of two amazing things.

Stansbury is designed with a sock set in mind. I have so many beautiful sock sets in my stash that I want to showcase in more than just socks! It is constructed by working the body from
the top down in a crescent shape. The contrast mini skein is used to add an airy mesh section then a delicate lace border is knitted on to finish it up.

Measurements - 56 in/142 cm wingspan by 13 in/33cm deep.

Yarn: MC - 400yds/365m to 100 grams of fingering weight yarn. CC - 80 yards/73m to 20 grams. Shown in the Handsome Enough to Tempt Me sock set from Yarnbrary on the Contemporary Sock base.
