Like most of my patterns, I name them for where I’m traveling to. Same goes for these. Matt (my dh) and I were on our way to a nearby lake for lunch and some fishing that is next to a small town named Stanton. Between the color and the stitch pattern, it just seemed right.

These socks were sized for me, I wear a 7 1/2-8, so I used a 64 stitch cast on. But the pattern is a 4 stitch repeat so it will be easy to change the cast on and make them fit just about anyone. And with the style of this pattern, it would be good for a man.
