A simple, quick and easy intarsia pattern to follow.

Measures approximately 20 x 24 inches.

I consider this to be a relatively easy pattern to follow if you are trying intarsia knitting for the first time, as It consists of a simple rectangle, with a garter stitch border, and the star pattern is symmetrical.

Knitted with chunky yarn tension:
14 stitches x 20 rows= 4 inches/10 cm, on 6 mm needles.

You will need 2 100g balls of Hayfield Chunky with wool for the main background colour, plus a smaller amount in yellow for the star. But you may choose any other colour combinations of your choice.
