This pattern comes with instructions for a heavy worsted weight version (top photo) and a sportweight version. The third photo from top shows an active twist flower embellishment. I just love these cuffs and have made several pairs. I even layer them. They never get in the way when I type, spin or knit and because they are non restrictive, they allow my fingers to actually stay warm. I especially like the worsted weight version when I’m typing because I can snuggle my hands down into the cuffs and still type like they weren’t there. I spun the two-ply yarn for the worsted version from LV ltd for Three Waters Farm Blue-faced Leicester fiber in “Lounge Lizard” and “African Sunset”, one ply of each plied together. For the sportweight version I used the same fiber in “Delphiniums” colorway.
You could easily knit the sport weight version in any of the currently popular sock yarns. Pattern has instructions for adjusting size and gauge.
