This cozy riot of color was originally designed for our Merry and Bright 24 day Advent. Knit with mini skeins and one full skein for the final garter border, it’s eye-catching and cozy and just right for snuggling under.

While Advent has come and gone, this pattern includes an abridged version that uses 20 mini skeins and a full skein -- ideal for our “So Fond of Rainbows” collections. “Pleased as Punch” color collection is very similar to our Advent color palette -- it combines a mix of tonals, layered colors, and variegated that come together in a brilliant rainbow of color.

Find our sets of minis online and at your favorite LYS.

The pattern has two options -- 24 minis and a full skein, or 20 minis and a full skein. One color is knit until finished, then another, and when completed you will have an ample throw radiating color! This star-shaped blanket is worked from the center out with your choice of 5 or 6 points. You can work the garter border whenever you like--for a smaller or larger blanket.

This would also make a great scrappy project!

Knit in the round, from the center out, simple increases and decreases form the star shape.
