This pattern is for a crocheted yarmulke with a Star of David pattern.

The pattern calls for small amounts of 2 colors of medium weight yarn to produce a yarmulke approximately 7 inches in diameter. Working with a lighter weight of yarn and a smaller hook, would produce a smaller yarmulke.

When crocheted using medium weight yarn and a size H hook this yarmulke should be approximately 7 inches in diameter. It can be made larger or smaller by adjusting yarn weight and hook size.

I would rate this pattern as intermediate. The stitches required are chain, single crochet, double crochet and slip stitch. It does require knowledge of how to crochet in the round and work with two colors. This pattern is written using American crochet terms.
