The Star Spangled Ponchette is a summer poncho that can be worn over a camisole for a cool, layered look or over beachwear as a coverup! The star-shaped mesh created by the stitches gives this garment lots of interest and the asymmetrical shape makes it truly unique.

With one side worked as a short, capped sleeve and the other side nicely draped, the ponchette is a stunning piece and looks gorgeous when worn with shorts, jeans or leggings!

The pattern includes written instructions with a chart and photo tutorial included for the swatch. It’ll be important to work up a swatch so that you become familiar with the stitches before you start working on the piece.

This pattern is for intermediate crocheters and could be frustrating for beginners, so I’d recommend you save it until you get some experience under your belt.

Please let me know if you have any questions and I’ll be happy to answer them as soon as possible. I know you’re going to LOVE it!
