I’ve just been completely in the Star Trek mood for the last two weeks, so I created a pattern repeat based on the uniforms worn in the new Star Trek movie.

The pattern repeat of insignias is 130 stitches wide by 52 rows tall. Knit with yarn that is, say, 6 stitches to the inch, the pattern repeat would yield approximately 21.5” x 8.5”

If you use all 130 stitches, the pattern can be repeated with continuity (i.e., cast on 130, 260, 390, etc. - say, for a long scarf). When using all stitches, the pattern can be knit in the round. Likewise, the pattern can be repeated after knitting all 52 rows with continuity (i.e., 52, 104, 156, 208, etc.)

Enjoy!!
