Before I even saw the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie, I was absolutely obsessed with Rey. She seemed so cool and mysterious and like a character that would always be loved and remembered. So in October of 2015 I set to work on designing a Rey outfit for my American Girl Dolls.

(You can buy the finished product here)

I was surprised by how popular this outfit became and I had people messaging me, asking if I had the pattern available. Well, I finally decided that I would share my pattern with the world!

This pattern works up fairly quickly for me. If all I do is crochet all day, I can make this outfit in a day. But as I don’t always have the time for that, I usually end up making it over a few days :)
