Stardust Tee
Step-by-step video tutorial.
The Stardust Tee (2 options: plain and ribbed) is designed for those moments when you want to impress — whether you’re wearing it out and collecting compliments, or simply proud you made it yourself.
It’s an easy, beginner-friendly project with minimal shaping and a simple circular yoke.
I called it Stardust because the stitch pattern reminds me of scattered stardust — those tiny sparkles you notice most on warm summer nights.
♥ SKILL LEVEL. Don’t worry if you’re new to garment knitting. All of my patterns are designed with adventurous beginners in mind. As long as you’re comfortable with the knit and purl stitches and have tackled projects like scarves or hats, you have the skills to create this tee.
Plus, I’ve filmed a helpful video tutorial to guide you through each step and boost your confidence!
♥ PATTERN. Instant download PDF file in both cm and inches. Additionally, I’ve prepared a Knitting Project Planner exclusively for the top-down circular yoke top, including a round counter.
♥ LANGUAGES: Available in English, German, and French.
♥ METHOD: This seamless tee is knit from the top down, beginning with a neckline ribbing.
Five rounds of increases are then worked to shape the circular yoke. There are two options for knitting the yoke: plain stockinette for a minimalist look, or a broken rib stitch that adds texture and gently hides small imperfections. For the stockinette stitch version, there is an additional option to add short-row shaping at the back neck.
After completing the yoke, the body and sleeves are separated and knit in the round using stockinette stitch.
♥ 11 SIZES: XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL, 6XL. Check out the chart on the photo to help you decide which size to choose.
