This bolero jacket/vest is made from two rectangles. You’ll knit the edging first, as one long rectangle, then seam it together to create a circle. A back panel is picked up and worked, leaving openings for armholes. The motif used for the back panel is Estonian; the edging is a Japanese stitch pattern.

This garment is fitted according to your cross back measurement -- not total bust/chest measurement. Take the time to measure carefully between your shoulder bones to get the proper size.
