Starry skies is a contemporary take on a granny squares jacket. Inspired by the starry skies of dark Northumberland and created using several different granny square designs with varying colour combinations. Pieced together these squares create a relaxed and comfortable garment that is fun to both crochet and to wear.

Starry Skies Jacket loves everything nostalgic. Vintage teacups, embroidered table cloths and scones with jam and cream are the things that Starry skies dreams of. Being practical it does realise though that life isn’t all tea parties and sometimes you have to pop out to the shops (if only to buy ingredients for a Victoria Sponge cake!) and so will be the perfect jacket to accompany you on your errands.

Grannys got style with this contemporary jacket.

Made from three different granny square patterns in two colours of Whistlebare’s beautiful Yeavering Bell (80% Fine Kid Mohair 20% Best Wensleydale Wool) double knit.

4 skeins colour 1
2 skeins colour 2
