I made these mitts for my art-loving sister, who’s always been a fan of Van Gogh’s. After buying a skein of Fox and Feather’s Starry Starry Night yarn, I knew I wanted to make a simple pair of mittens to show off the colourway. The Starry Starry Mitts pattern is a nice quick knit for the mitten pros out there, and a great intro for mitten newbies - it’s mostly stockinette so you can focus on the construction. Also, because I designed it specifically to let the colour variations in the yarn shine, it’s perfect for that skein of beautiful hand-painted DK that you’ve waiting to find a project for! Your hands will be nice and cosy for all of your Autumn and Winter adventures.

The pattern is written with both Australian (metric) and US (imperial) terms. Aside from the pattern, you’ll receive a detailed tutorial for how to create the thumbs. You can buy either here on Ravelry or on Etsy, and you’ll receive download links immediately after purchase.

I always love getting your questions and feedback - all my patterns come with my contact info if you need anything from me!
