Featuring Cascade Avalon, this baby-soft afghan is inspired by Old Glory, and you’ll feel like Betsy Ross as you use intarsia to make white stars on a field of blue.

The “stars” are 13 white stars on a blue background, knitted in intarsia (or stranded, if you prefer). Intarsia instructions include yarn lengths for each bobbin. The “stripes” are alternating garter stitch and stockinette stitch.
9 squares, approx. 15” each. Finished size: 45 inches square

Cascade Yarns Avalon: 3 skeins each of Crimson (color 4), Turkish Sea (color 18) and Ecru (color 30)
