A starry stranded beret to match your Starstuff mitts, featuring a crown of stars around the brim and star-shaped decreases on top.

Materials: 4ply/fingering/sock weight yarn: at least 40 yards for the ‘star colour’ (SC) and 160 yards for the ‘background colour’ (BC). I used Zealana Kauri Fingering in ‘Kea’ (SC, 35 yards) and ‘Tuhi’ (BC, 154 yards). I used leftover SC from my Starstuff mitts, and just under one ball of BC.

Sizing: The given size fits an adult female head with a circumference of 22 inches. The ribbing is nice and stretchy, so it should fit well on heads an inch or two larger or smaller. The size can be adjusted by adding or subtracting a multiple of 12 stitches to your cast-on. If desired, the hat can be made longer by adding rows as indicated in the pattern instructions. The ribbing can also be lengthened to suit.

Pattern is for personal use only.
