The Stash Sweater has been a firm favourite with my daughter ever since I wove in the last ends and handed it over. It is an oversized, comfortable garment that gives the wearer ease of movement, and the knitter gets the satisfaction of using up lots of partial balls of yarn! The final sweater is a DK weight (toasty warm), and is wonderful for using what you have on hand because the pattern uses 2 strands of 4ply held together throughout. The marled effect helps merge new colours as they are added. Make your sweater bright and bold or fade your colour changes subtly, there are endless options for this stash-busting sweater.

Sizes:
5-6 (7-8, 9-10,11-12, 13-14) years old.
Finished chest circumference: 26 (28, 30, 32, 34) inches

Yardage: you will need approximately 480 (560, 680, 800, 930) yards in your main colour, plus an equal amount in your contrast colour(s). If you are substituting a DK/8 ply yarn you will only need 480 (560, 680, 800, 930) yards total.
