A small intarsia felted bag perfect for using up stash yarns. The design is often seen in tiles, carpet borders, and textiles. Its simplicity makes it suitable for knitters beginning to explore intarsia and play with color.

This bag uses yarns from my stash, including heather and tweed yarns in close values to create a bag, which gives a sense of texture and patchwork, while maintaining a defined pattern that is easy to memorize. It’s a good way to use some of your favorite old yarns, which you have loved, but are no longer available. This bag uses some yarns that I knitted on my first intarsia sweater 25 years ago. Hang it over your shoulder, and then hang it on the wall when you’re not wearing it. An iPad mini rests in it comfortably.
