This pattern was designed to make use of oddments of yarn.
Don’t be afraid to adapt the pattern to suit the oddments you have for example the sleeves could be knitted in just one colour, the bodice could be knitted in the striped stitch pattern. You may find that different brands of yarn vary in thickness, this will give a textured look to the design and will not matter for the striped stitch pattern but just ensure that whichever shade you choose to knit the bodice in, knits to the right tension to give you the correct measurements.
To fit:
0-3 mths, 3-6 mths, 6-12 mths, 1-2 years.

Needle Sizes

If you don’t have 3mm needles you can use 3.25mm for the flowers, they will just turn out a little larger than those shown in photo.

Tension:
24 sts and 32 rows over slipped stitch pattern.
