The perfect little bag to let someone know they are first prize in your book. The ribbon actually forms the closure for the bag. The ribbon can also be knit and assembled separately and felted or not. Tips for felting by hand and lining the bag are included at the end of the pattern. Pattern includes photos and diagrams for guidance.

Skills: For the most part you’ll need to be able to knit flat and in the round, purl, increase and decrease, and pick up a few stitches.

Materials:
Bag – 1, 50g skein worsted weight, feltable yarn – off white or color of choice. Recommend at least 80% animal fiber for best felting results – be sure the yarn is not “superwash” as these yarns have been treated so they will not felt. Some white wools do not felt well.

Ribbon – 1, 50g skein worsted weight, feltable yarn – blue, or color of choice.

Handle – 1, 50g skein worsted weight, feltable yarn - brown, or color of choice
3/8 yard lining fabric (optional)
