A slightly slouchy beanie with cool chevron stripes! The bold geometric pattern reminds me of stegosaurs spikes, my favorite dinosaur as a child.

The baby size has a slight elfin point at the crown. The adult size has a six-pointed star detail due to the shaping and color changes. The yarn is knit at a looser gauge (using larger needles) than usually recommended, to create a drapey, lightweight hat that is comfortable for year-round wear.

One of the colors used is a self-striping yarn. Experiment with different color combinations!
