Beginner: Basic Lace Stitches, 3 Needle BO (or Kitchener)

Quick and simple knit. With only 2 different row patterns to memorize you won’t need to be eyeballing the chart constantly - just relax and knit away on this super chunky and fast scarf- you’ll be done in no time and wanting make another.

Overview:
Two distinct looks, depending on how it is folded/worn:

Flat gives 3 dimensional plated spines while folded gives a zigzag.

Knit in two pieces - bottom up, joined at the center with either grafting (Kitchener) or a 3 needle BO.

Easily modified for length and nice worked in any size of yarn as well, just make sure you are getting nice tight stitches and remember - the smaller the gauge, the more yarn you will need.

Stitches used: K, P, YO, SSK, K2TOG, S2KP (central double decrease)
All stitches/symbols/abbreviations are described in the knitting legend as well as their method of production.
