Pattern can use any yarn with the appropriate needle size, and a smaller one for knitting the head and hat. Body is worked flat with stitches picked up for the head which is worked in the round. Hat is worked in the round. You could do the head and hat flat and seam afterwards. Small amount of stuffing needed for head.
