A beautiful knitted baby blanket for the new little boy or girl in your life. The pattern of gradually changing cables is easy to memorize and fun to knit.
This blanket would be equally beautiful made in wool or cotton. The sample is made of an acrylic/cotton blend DK weight yarn and took approximately 3900-4000 yards of yarn, using size 7- 32” circular needles. Other tools you will need are a cable needle, and a crochet hook or tapestry needle for weaving in yarn ends.

The finished size is 35” square.
