The smallest details jump out at me in movies. For instance, if I were to sit for hours on end watching my neighbors from my rear window, my hands would get cold. And if they did, I’d like to have a cozy pair of
fingerless gloves—the better to tweak the focus on my binoculars, not to mention keep me warm.

These gloves use a garter-stitch-based mosaic stitch for interest and to evoke a highrise full of tantalizing neighbors. The buttoned cuff extends the retro feel from fingertips to wrist.
