This pattern is one, that I designed, for those of you who are art yarn lovers, or spinners, who wonder just what you can do with a small amount of it! This sweet hat features gentle ribbing, for fit, and a lovely flower pin.
New yarn list!

Size: Newborn, 3-6 Months
Supplies Needed:
25-30 Yards, bulky, hand spun art yarn (5 WPI)
1 Set, Size 15, Double Pointed Needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
(Gauge is 2 st.=1”, in stockinette)
1 Tapestry Needle
1 Flower Pin (or, make your own, using hot glue gun)
Skills Needed:
Knitting in the round, on double pointed needles, Purl, SSK or K2tog.

A fairly simple pattern, but I have taken all of the guesswork out of the sizing!

Pattern comes with a long list of handspun yarns, that would work, for this pattern. I have shopped, so you don’t have to! Simply pick a yarn, and follow the pattern! (If you have any left, you can always use it, for my Elly headband pattern!)

Note: If you have less than 25 yards of art yarn, you can still make this hat! I am being somewhat conservative. I used about 22 yards.

Thank you so much, to Keri Messina, in Arcata, CA, for the wonderful photos!!
