Stella the Dove is one happy bird. Her body is knit in Stockinette Stitch and her tail is a pretty but simple lace pattern. A picot detail added to her wings gives her even more pizazz as she soars through the air. Add beads for eyes, or embroider eyes if giving to a child. Stella also looks great felted!

YARN
1 skein in #8505 White
Small amount of orange for beak

Like all animals in this book, Stella can be knit to different sizes by using different yarn weights and gauges. Need it oversized? Use bulky or jumbo yarn. Need it tiny? Try a finer weight. It’s as simple as that.
