The finished item is a rectangular Wrap Shawl perfect for an Evening Function or to wear on a cool summers evening.

450m/200g DK 6.5mm hook (with a 7mm hook for foundation chain)
800m/200g Sock/4ply 5mm hook (with a 5.5mm hook for foundation chain)

For both DK and Sock/4ply weight the pattern is the same bar the foundation chain.

This is a straightforward simple pattern ideal for hand dyed Sparkle yarn that allows the yarn to do the majority of the talking.

It requires blocking after the piece is finished to show off the stitch detail and open up the stitches.

I recommend the use of the larger hook size for the foundation chain so that when you are blocking the chain stretches with the rest of the wrap or there will be one edge shorter than the other.
