Seriously warm and seriously stylish, this cape comes in sizes from child to plus. If you don’t like the slits leave them out.

Materials
350 (400, 500, 600, 750) g aran weight yarn
4.5 and 5 mm (US 7 and 8) circular needles
row counter
6 large stitch markers and 18 smaller ones
waste yarn

I used Drops Nepal yarn, but any aran weight yarn can be used.

Size
To fit chest up to 32 (40, 48, 56, 64) “
The length is adjustable.

Construction
The yoke consists of stocking stitch and cabled panel which is knitted first, using short rows. Stitches are then picked up from the wider edge of the yoke for the body of the cape, which is worked from the top down. The button and button hole bands are picked up from the edges of the cape and yoke. Finally, stitches are picked up from the upper edge of the stocking stitch section for the collar.
