Step Up is a subtly textured cowl with an easy to memorize pattern of garter stitch stairs heading upward. Suitable for those who have mastered the basics, and a relaxing knit for the more experienced. Highly versatile, this pattern can be knit in a variety of lengths, as well as a range of weights to suit the style and taste of the thoughtful knitter or the lucky recipient. The gray sample was knit in a light worsted, in a medium length, to be worn down, or wrapped double around the neck. Directions are given for this size with neck warmer directions in parentheses.
Finished Size: 8” x 56” around neck warmer: 12” x 28”

Gauge: 4.25st/inch on US7 - After Blocking

Yarn: 350 yds light worsted or dk, 220 yards for neck warmer

Needles: Size US7, 20” circular, 16” for neck warmer, or use magic loop method
