This shawl is made up of a very easy, 4-row repeating lace pattern with some casting on and binding off to create the steps.

It can be easily adapted to different yarn weights and needle sizes as gauge is not crucial.

The shawl is knitted from side to side so it can be made smaller/wider for your shoulders depending on the number of pattern repeats across the midsection. It also means that you can judge the amount of yarn you have to finish as halfway across the back section = halfway through your yarn.
