If you love big shawls….
Then cast on the new “Stepping it up” shawl. It’s worked top down in a semi crescent/triangular shape.

The shawl grows all along the sides as well as in the top middle section with eyelets and stockinette knitting. There are color changes and great stitch patterns to try, including a pretty lace, a slipped stitch pattern and smocking, which is fun to do.

The bind off is done with three yarns held together to make it a prominent edge.

The pattern is fully written and also offers several charts.
The unblocked size measures 102” in overall length and 23” in middle height.
