People call Merino Cloud “the best yarn ever” and here’s your excuse to use a skein.
This is a fun knit since it starts from the bottom center with just 3 sts on the needle and builds up from there. I added short rows in 3 sections which create the extra width, but these are optional. I used just 1 skein of Merino Cloud in color 2234.
If you use 2 skeins the shawl will be deeper and the width will remain the same or wider if you like but no short rows are required.
There is just a bit of lace at the edges and at the very top , and all wrong side rows are mostly purl across. It is easy to memorize the repetitive pattern.
