Materials
Stethoscope:
Worsted weight yarn in grey and stethoscope colour
4mm hook
4 pipe cleaners (12 inches long) (Note: You may wish to use 2 pieces of stronger wire instead of the pipe cleaners if you are making the stethoscope for an older child. Just be careful to bend the ends to prevent them poking out and stabbing your child’s ears)
Fiberfill or yarn scraps to stuff
Yarn needle

Blood Pressure Cuff
Worsted weight yarn in blood pressure cuff colour, black and a little grey
4mm hook
Small piece of felt at least 3x3 inches
Permanent marker or fabric pen
Yarn needle
Fibrefill or yarn scraps to stuff
1x2 inch piece of Velcro hooks (the rough part)
2x2 inch piece of Velcro hooks (the soft part)
Hot glue gun and glue

Abbreviations
Ch = Chain
Hk = Hook
Invscdec = Invisible single crochet decrease
Rs = Right side
Sc = Single crochet
Sl st = Slip stitch
St(s) = Stitch(es)
Ws = Wrong side

Finished Measurements
Stethoscope:
From top to bottom (with earpieces bent): 20ish inches
Earpieces: 8.5 inches long
Tubing after join: 12 inches long
Bell: 1.5 inches from back to front, 2.25 inches tall at tallest point

Blood Pressure Cuff
Cuff (final): 10.5 inches (can be easily made longer)
Tubing: both 9 inches
Gauge: 2.25 inches from top to bottom and 1.25 inch deep
Bulb: 4.25 inches long, 5.5 inches around
Bulb valve clamp: 0.75 inches long
