Construction: Stillhouse Cove is a deliciously simple reversible pattern. Knit in the round, this cowl and the companion hat use knit and purl stitches to create a simple, classic stitch pattern. This pattern is easily customizable (see notes section) and I hope you’ll take the opportunity to customize your hat to your desired fit.

Skill level: Advanced beginner
Skills needed: knitting and purling in the rounds, slipped stitches, k2tog decreases

Size: Small (large) adult
Circumference: 9” (11”) flat, stretches to fit 22” (25”) circumference
Height: 7 ½” (8 ½”)

US 5 (3.75 mm) 16” circular and set of double-pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge
US 3 (3.25 mm) 16” circular needle, or two sizes smaller than gauge needle
