This mid-sized bag is worked in the round from the top down, and the bottom panel is knit in place with short rows.

A smaller-than-usual needle size is recommended, to work the worsted/aran weight yarn at a tighter gauge to create a firm fabric for the bag - as an added bonus, this makes the texture stitches really pop!
