The inspiration for the Stitch Taster – Candelabra design was from a Japanese stitch pattern in the book 1000 Knitting Patterns Book. The diamond motif in lace and purl/twisted stitches reminded me of candelabras. A lacy mesh creates twinkling lace “lights” between the diamond tops.

This simple cowl is part of a series of designs that feature stitch patterns from more complex Provenance Knits designs. The stitch pattern is also featured in the Candelabra Crescent design.

Pattern was professionally tech edited by Robin Melanson.

NOTE: Provenance Knit patterns use charts.
