Knit Sweater Pattern - Knitted Vest Pattern

This knitting pattern is for an easy to knit sweater vest in one size - size small to medium. The finished vest measures 40 inches around at the bust and hips and is 25 inches long. It will fit a size 4 to 10 misses.

The pattern is a 4 page pattern including one photo. Basic knitting skills and knowledge of terms are needed to complete this pattern. It would also be helpful to have made a sweater before so you are familiar with sewing the sections together.

The stitch pattern used to knit this vest is a 12 row repeat - made up of knit and purl stitches. It is an easy stitch pattern to follow. You will also need to know how to bind off stitches to shape the underarm area and the neckline. Picking up stitches with a circular knitting needle and knitting in the round are also required to form the neckline part of the sweater.

This sweater vest is knit with Heartland yarn from Lion brand yarn - 3 skeins. Any #4 acrylic weight yarn will work for this pattern. The Heartland yarn is soft and has a nice drape for this style of garment.

The needle size used for the pattern is a US 9 circular.

You may sell any finished items made from this pattern.
