Gauge is set using 4.5mm needles but stocking is knit using 3.25mm needles.

Stocking is knit flat with heel done in two parts using short row technique. Finish by seaming up back of stocking from toe to cuff and adding loop of plaited yarn.

Finished size - 15cm tall.

Stocking uses three colours of yarn - first for cuff, heel and toe; second for main body of stocking; third for Swiss darning letter (chart at page 30 of magazine) onto stocking.
