This rectangular stole is worked from the middle outward, using a provisional cast-on – no sewing or grafting required.

A long, elaborate ornament is set against stockinette background and framed with a band of small lace motifs at each long side.

The photo at the left upper corner of the collage only shows one half of the stole – the other half is identical.
