I’ve made a few of these hats in various worsted weight yarns. This one is, without hesitation, the most luxurious….the texture and feel of the madelinetosh tosh vintage is divine. Paired with the lightness and warmth of the Lopi… well…my favourite hat ever.

This pattern is suitable for beginners, guys and gals, and for anyone wishing to use up those part skeins. If you use the Lopi, wet block the finished hat, adding a dab of hair conditioner to the final rinse water to soften the fibers. But of course, use your own favourite yarn(s), or whatever you have on hand. Peace on earth for the coming holidays.
